Fast Minds, Calm Systems Group

Life with ADHD traits, fast thinking, overwhelm, and mental burnout

What happens:

This group is designed for people who process life quickly — often too quickly. Whether diagnosed with ADHD or not, members explore how fast-paced thoughts, emotional intensity, and inconsistency affect their daily lives and relationships. We slow things down together and work on self-acceptance, focus, and healthy structure.

Therapeutic goal:

To reduce inner chaos, feel more in control, and build consistent internal systems through shared insight and support.

Men’s Mental Health & Anxiety Group

Focus:

Masculinity, stress, identity, emotional pressure, and coping with anxiety

What happens:

This group offers a confidential space for men to talk openly about mental health, emotional overwhelm, and internal pressure — without judgment or performance. Together, members explore how anxiety shows up, where it comes from, and how to relate to it differently. Sessions are guided by process, reflection, and shared experience.

Therapeutic goal:

To build emotional fluency, reduce isolation, and support men in relating more openly to themselves and others.

Addiction & Recovery Group

Focus:

The emotional and relational patterns behind addictive behaviours

What happens:

This group supports individuals at any stage of recovery to explore the deeper emotional and relational issues tied to addiction. It’s not a 12-step program — instead, it’s a process-based group where members reflect on triggers, patterns, needs, and shame in a relational setting.

Therapeutic goal:

To reduce shame, deepen self-understanding, and support longer-term recovery through insight and connection.

Groups FAQ

What happens in a group session?

In group sessions, members meet in a confidential space, guided by a trained facilitator. Sessions include time to check in, discuss experiences, process personal topics, and support each other. Sharing is encouraged but always voluntary.

Who can join a group?

Most groups are open to men who are interested in personal growth, mental health, or support around specific issues like ADHD or addiction. Some groups may have specific requirements; contact us for details.

How confidential are the sessions?

Confidentiality is a core principle. What is shared in the group stays in the group. All members agree to keep participants’ discussions private to build trust and safety.

What if I miss a session?

We encourage regular attendance to get the most from the group. If you have to miss a session, please let the facilitator know in advance. We can discuss ways to catch up or re-engage next time.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes. Each group has a 5-month minimum commitment. This gives the group time to settle, build trust, and create meaningful, lasting change. Group work becomes far more effective when members stay consistent over a longer period, so the 5-month structure helps keep the space stable and supportive for everyone.
